Principal Madden’s Weekly Update—Week of September 24

Greetings! Happy Fall!

Grow Food Northampton right here at Ryan Road!

Do you want to get fresh Crimson and Clover vegetables every Thursday through mid-November? Check out the attached flyer for more information! Or, check in at the vegetable stand this Thursday at dismissal! Michael from Grow Food will be there to answer any questions you may have!

The photos this week show first grade readers, kindergarten gardeners, first graders releasing a recently hatched monarch butterfly (always seems miraculous!, and kindergarten students enjoying juicy apples as part of our Autumnal Equinox celebration on Friday. Thank you to all those who donated apples!

We all begin our day outdoors unless it is raining or colder than 15 degrees. Breakfast is available in the cafeteria beginning at 8:30. The bell rings to start our day at 8:50.
