Principal Madden’s Weekly Update—Week of October 1

Principal Madden’s Weekly Update—Week of October 1

Open House

Our Open House will take place on Wednesday, October 3 from 6-7. This is an excellent opportunity to celebrate learning, meet your child’s teachers, and take a tour of our wonderful school. We also hope all families will have their photos taken for our hallway display of family photos. The Scholastic Book Fair will take place from 5:30-7:30 in the gym. Also, we will have our Title 1 Annual Meeting in the cafeteria from 5:30-6:00. We look forward to seeing you and hope that you will leave feeling excited about the upcoming school year!

Parent Conferences

Teachers are looking forward to meeting with parents during the week of October 22. Every day that week is an early release day for students with a 12:20 dismissal. There will be a spot in our library during Open House to sign up for conferences. Please help us by making your appointment(s). Thank you!

The photos this week show our fabulous school photo when we arranged ourselves into a DAY = NIGHT formation for the first day of fall. Also, Mrs. Pefaur’s class looks great in their Autumnal Equinox hats! The other photos show great teamwork at recess and some of our 5th graders enjoying reading in the library. Our new librarian, Jennifer Clarson, has been making some nice changes to our library.

Important Reminder

Our school provides adult supervision for students beginning at 8:30. Please do not drop off students to Ryan Road School before this time
