Principal Madden’s Weekly Update—Week of November 4

Principal Madden’s Weekly Update—Week of November 4

November Greetings! Can you believe it is already November?!

Halloween Party

We had another fabulous Halloween Party on Friday night. Thank you to party planner, Lauren Fleit (and her family!) and to all the other parents who volunteered or contributed to make this such a fun event for our students and families.

Photos

This week’s photos show our adorable Kindergarten students after their Halloween Parade around the school. Everyone enjoys seeing them as they go in and out of classrooms. Also, some of your young engineers are showing their talents and collaboration in the Maker’s Space! One of them even made the solar system out of playdough! One of the photos shows some early sound identification with creative drawings. Third graders are using blue prints to actually build computers. Wow! The last photo shows our community resource officer, Josh Wallace (and his wonderful service dog, Douglas), and Detective VanBuskirk sharing how they serve the community as part of our Community Calendar project. We have been having a variety of community leaders visit classrooms for our new calendar, which will be available in December.
