District Wide Visual Art Festivities!

For the month of May, the visual arts will be on display across Northampton!  Please come out and celebrate our student artists!

NPS Elementary Schools: Fifth Grade Art Show

Venue: JFK Middle School

May 19 – June 8, 2023

Reception: Friday May 19th from 4:30 -6:00

The fifth graders will display one or two works of art, both 2 and 3 dimensional pieces. It will be displayed in the front hallways on the walls and in glass cases. The students will be able to see their artwork when they visit JFK with their classes as well as during the reception. 

JFK Middle School Student Art Exhibition 

Venue: Hosmer Gallery in the Forbes Library, 20 West Street, Northampton MA 01060

The exhibition will run May 2-30, 2023

Reception: Friday, May 12, 2023, 4-6 pm

Gallery Hours: Monday-Thursday from 10 AM- 8 PM, Friday-Saturday from 10 AM- 6 PM

JFK Middle School art students in grades 6-8 will be displaying a variety of 2D and 3D works. These chosen pieces demonstrate creative solutions, are playful with themes, and showcase the individuality of each artist. The studio classes are taught by Michelle Mallory and Emma Mendoker.

Flock Together: Northampton High School Student Art Exhibition and Senior Shows

Venue: A.P.E. Ltd. Gallery, Northampton MA, 126 Main St, Northampton, MA 01060 

The exhibition will run May 4 – 25, 2023

Reception: Arts Night Out, May 12, 2023, 5-8pm with NHS Jazz Band

Gallery Hours: Wednesday-Sunday 12-5pm, Friday 12-8pm, closed Monday + Tuesday
