Principal Madden’s Weekly Message—Week of June 21, 2022

Photos

This week’s photos are some highlights from our Pride Day last Wednesday. There was a lot of enthusiasm! Also, we were lucky to have author and parent, Jarrett Krosoczka, come and share some of his talents and books with our kindergarten and fourth grade classes. He gave signed copies of It’s tough to Lose Your Balloon to all kindergarteners and Jedi Academy: Revenge of the Sis to all 4th graders. What a generous gift!

Social Emotional Learning Resources

I have attached a document that Mrs. Brown, our wonderful School Adjustment Counselor has been creating over time. Mrs. Brown is retiring at the end of this year. BUT, like my replacement, Karen Albano, we are very excited to announce that we have selected an excellent new School Adjustment Counselor, Rebecca (Becky) Connolly. She will be visiting the school for the day on Wednesday, June 22 so that she can get meet some staff and students and see how our days go here at Ryan Road. Ms. Connolly has a lot of experience and has most recently been a School Adjustment Counselor in West Springfield.
